Transition your skincare routine

Fall is a season when leaves turn to flowers. Shed off the dull, dry skin and prepare your skin to shine

Do you have a skincare routine that works for you?

Even so, as seasons change, you should also modify your skincare routine. Your clothes change, makeup changes so should your skincare treatments and products.

How to go about this?

REMEMBER SKINCARE CAUSING IRRITATION AND INFLAMATION TO THE SKIN NEEDS TO BE CHANGED IMMEDIATELY.

Cleansing: Cleansing the skin everyday is a must, especially at night when you prepare your skin to absorb all the good stuff you feed it and it has the time to heal and regenerate and get beautiful.

Exfoliation: Summer months can damage the skin and cause the buildup of dead skin cells that needs to be removed to show off your beautiful skin. Gentle exfoliation ONLY once or twice a week is advised. (If you wish to use stuff out of the pantry then try ground raw rice, ground raw almonds added to your cleanser or just with water)

Moisturizing with Serums: Cleansing the skin everyday is a must, especially at night when you prepare your skin to absorb all the good stuff you feed it and it has the time to heal and regenerate and get beautiful. Serums like Antioxidant serums, Vitamin C, Retinols, Growth Factor Serums.

Skindulgenz does recommend AnteAge MD Duo for the best results. If you feel your skin is still dry then either bump it up with a heavier moisturizer or add a drop of your favorite skin oil (Marakuja, argan, grapeseed to name a few). Also recommend Ayurvedic oils

If you're pregnant, avoid products containing retinol, salicylic acid and benzoyl peroxide as they can be potentially harmful to an unborn child.

SPF: Are you thinking about should you use SPF or not - maybe you are not going out during the day and just relaxing at home. FACT - UV rays can still damage your skin indoors. Sun damage is also a major factor in our skins aging.

DONT THINK - JUST DO - APPLY SUNSCREEN AND TOP UP WHEN NEEDED.

Along with all this you need to visit your esthetician for regular treatments like Microdermabrasion and chemical peels to help your skin exfoliate

If you were out in the sun during the summer, and did not protect yourself with SPF then with absolute certainty you have some sun damage to your skin.

Skindulgenz provides various treatments that can help you reduce pigmentation and home care products to go with it. Give us a call to find out more
